It was fun transforming this dark and dingy bathroom into a light and airy space.  We replaced every square inch from floor to ceiling.  We took space from an adjacent closet to expand the shower, making it roomier and giving us space to add a window for much-needed light.  We also replaced one traditional door with a pocket door, and rehung the second door to open from the other side, both changes making the space flow better.  We needed ample storage but chose glass-front upper cabinets so as not to overwhelm the space and providing a place to display pretty linens and accents.
